A Salt Lake man accused of stabbing another man to death in July has been ordered to stand trial on a second-degree murder charge.

Taniela P. Fangupo, 20, appeared in a preliminary hearing Wednesday before 3rd Circuit Judge Dennis Fuchs, who ruled there was enough evidence to support the charge. Fuchs ordered Fangupo to be arraigned before 3rd District Judge Homer Wilkinson on Aug. 19.Fangupo is charged with the slaying of Mana Hautau, 28, who died July 9 of chest wounds inflicted by a knife. The stabbing resulted from a fight at an all-night party in a clubhouse behind a home at 1291 W. Iola Ave. (340 South).
