Brigham Young University will close all campus roads and parking lots for Christmas.
The closure will begin at midnight Dec. 24 and continue until midnight Dec. 25. Lt. Michael Harroun of the BYU Traffic Office said the university closes its roads and parking lots every three years to preserve its right to own them.Roads to be barricaded include 450 East at the Marriott Center, 1230 North at the main campus entrance, Campus Drive and others. Residents of university housing areas can gain access to their homes from University Parkway, 900 East and 150 East.
