The Utah Beekeepers Association will hold its annual convention Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8, at the Utah Department of Agriculture headquarters, 350 N. Redwood Road.

Commercial beekeepers Duane and Bryan Cox will discuss the Cox Family Enterprises and Dr. William T. Wilson of the U.S. Department of Agriculture honey bee laboratory in Weslaco, Texas, will discuss the wide range of problems that can occur in beekeeping.A variety of honey will be brought to the convention for the association's annual tasting ceremony and members will bring recipes of their favorite foods made from honey.

Registration for the two-day event will start at 8:30 a.m. Friday and the beekeepers' annual banquet will be held Friday at 7 p.m. in the UDA conference room. Saturday's activities will be held from 8 a.m. to noon in the conference room.
