London Bridge is falling down.

Lake Havasu City officials said Friday they were accepting bids to make the first major repairs on the bridge since it was moved from London to the Colorado River community some 20 years ago.The repairs, estimated to cost $110,000, are needed on the underside of the bridge, where cement has fallen off.

Officials said steel pins in the bridge also must be anchored with epoxy and the underside of the bridge stained a granite color.

Developer Robert McCulloch bought the bridge in 1969 for nearly $2.5 million and spent an additional $4.5 million to ship it from England.
