In the first Weber County case of its kind, an Ogden man has been fined $400 and ordered to pay $250 in restitution for illegally hooking into cable television lines, 2nd Circuit Court officials said Tuesday.
Judge Parley Baldwin also sentenced Kelly Adams, 23, to 60 days in jail on his Nov. 7 guilty plea to theft of services allegations. But Baldwin suspended the jail term to one year probation.Adams had been charged with tapping into TCI Cablevision of Utah lines in September.
