Rupert A. (Dobe) Dobesh, 57, died November 27, 1990 in Salt Lake City.
Born May 11, 1933 in Hyannis, Nebraska to Rupert B. and Vivian Breuhaus Dobesh. Married Nancy L. Bennett in 1953 in Sidney, Nebraska. He was a highly decorated veteran of the Korean Conflict. Retired civil servant from Hill AFB. 30 year member of the Great Salt Lake Retriever Club. Owned and trained First AFC-NFC female Lab Retriever from Utah. Avid retriever handler and water fowl hunter.Survived by ex-wife, Pleasant View, Utah; mother, Vivian Yauney, Scappose, Oregon; three sons, Rupert E., South Jordan; Jeffrey G., West Jordan; Russell G., Magna; daughter, Mrs. Robert (Angie) Wright, West Valley City; seven grandchildren; three brothers, Glen Arthur Yauney, Portland, Oregon; Fred Yauney, and Bill Yauney, both Scappose, Oregon; sister, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Gentry, Odessa, Texas. Preceded in death by father, and a brother, Robert Yuney.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Utah Veteran's Memorial Park, 17111 South Camp Williams Road, Bluffdale, Utah. Holy rosary will be recited Friday, 8 p.m., at the Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South. Friends may call at the time of Rosary.
