Earl Gold Montgomery, 85, died November 27, 1990 in Heber City, Utah.

Born November 10, 1905 in Heber City to Robert Booth and Elizabeth Lambert Montgomery. Married Atha Johnson November 25, 1926 in Heber City. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Lifetime resident of Heber City, member LDS Church, worked in the MIA and Boy Scouts. Member of the Wasatch County School Board. Texaco Products distributor for 40 years.Survived by wife of Heber City; children, Ralph B. Montgomery, Salt Lake City; E. Rex Montgomery, San Antonio, Texas; Melvin J. Montgomery, Denver, Pennsylvania; Mrs. John (Marva) Nelson, Tustin, California; Philip L. Montgomery, Orem; 25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters and two grandchildren.

Funeral services Saturday December 1, 1990 at 12 Noon in the Heber 4th Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Olpin Mortuary Friday 6-8 p.m. and at the church Saturday one hour prior to services. Burial Heber City Cemetery.
