Hayes Bros. Chrysler Jeep Eagle will hold an open house Friday for its new 3,000-square-foot showroom at 2300 South State.
The 10-car showroom will allow separation of the Chrysler, Jeep and Eagle line of cars from the Hayes Bros. Buick dealership, said John Mecham, general manager of both operations.The new $500,000 facility is located directly south of the Buick dealership in space where the Hayes Bros. used car lot was located. That has now been moved to the north end of the property.
Mecham said a ribbon cutting will be held at noon with an open house from 4-8 p.m. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.
Speakers scheduled for the dedication include Lt. Gov. Val Oveson, South Salt Lake Mayor Jim Davis, Darro Glissmeyer, president of the South Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, Frank Yconis, Phoenix zone manager for Chrysler Jeep Eagle, Norm Hayes, president of Hayes Bros., and Eric Hayes, vice president.
