Becky Rupp Knechtel, 23, died Tuesday, November 27, 1990 at an Ogden hospital as a result of injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Born April 1, 1967 in Granger, Utah to Joseph Glen and Leonora Howard Rupp. Married Kurt Winston Knechtel July 9, 1987 in Salt Lake City. Member of the Cyprus High Spinnakers and Dance Club, All State Drill Team (2 years), U.S.U. Aggettes (2 years), U.S.A. Drill Team Instructor (5 years). Drill Team Advisor for Sky View Vistauns in Smithfield, Utah (3 years). Assistant Director of half-time activities for the Hula Bowl, member of Nightline Dance Group.Becky and her infant son, Tyler Rupp Knechtel have gone to live with their Heavenly Father. Tyler was born and died on November 26, 1990 at a result of injuries sustained in the automobile accident.

Survived by husband, Kurt and his parents, Winston and Patricia Knechtel; her parents, Joseph Glen and Leonora Rupp; brothers and sisters, Laurie and Valair Rupp; Kerry and Lorri Rupp; Julie and Chuck Felice; Kristy and Randy Buckway; Jeff and Linda Rupp; Dennis and Katherine Rupp; Adam Knechtel, Christian Knechtel; and Amy Knechtel; grandmother, Alice Goodway, Burmingham, England.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 1990, 12 noon, at the Magna Central Stake Center, 8181 West 3320 South. Friends may call at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Friday, 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Tooele City Cemetery.
