Alpha Chi Omega Women's Fraternity will close its 1990 calendar with the annual Taster's Party, Saturday, Dec. 1.
Sponsored by the Alpha Zeta Alpha Alumnae Chapter, the Taster's Party will be held at the Alpha Chi Omega chapter house, 1387 E. 100 South, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.The party will feature a diverse menu of hors d'oeuvres, main dishes and desserts. There also will be a craft boutique. All Alpha Chi Omega members and the public are invited. Cost is $2 per person.
The 1991 alumnae calendar begins with a safety seminar Jan. 9, 7 p.m. at the chapter house. The annual dinner dance will be Feb. 23.
Leading the Alpha Zeta Alpha chapter in 1991 are the following officers: Laura B. Headden, president; Gina King, First vice president; Patti S. Carpenter, second vice president; Laura W. Robinson, treasurer; Trish Kapos, newsletter editor; Lori D. Whitely, historian; Jane E. Roach and Holly Pitcher, collegiate liaisons; Kathy Broadbent, Marilyn Hicks and Beverly Spackman, legislative council delegates; Janice Brickey, inter-fraternity representative; and Frances Monson, state rush information chairman.
At the recent Founders Day celebration at Sugarhouse Park, Alpha Chi Omega honored the following 50-year members: Jean M. Barker, Ila C. Cook, Mariam B. Flandro, Mary G. Matheson, Norma N. Monay, Elaine C. Romney and Jean B. Worthen.
