Firefighters snuffed an inferno Tuesday that raged for more than two days in a storage tank farm near Stapleton International Airport, and burned up an estimated 2 million gallons of jet fuel.

"It's all out," Fire Chief Richard Gonzales said. "We have no idea what the cause was. We won't have a cause (pinpointed) for two weeks to a month."He also said a damage figure was still being calculated. Two 400,000-gallon tanks were destroyed and an 800,000-gallon tank was damaged. An estimated 1.5 million to 2 million gallons of jet fuel burned.
