The City Council will approve a project for a request of Community Development Block Grant monies, as well as discuss two land annexations, in its meeting tonight.

The council will hold a public hearing to receive input on possible capital improvement projects for CDBG funds, which are available only for low- to middle-income housing areas, and then decide on which project to apply for. Also, the council will take action on one annexation: a 7.6-acre parcel at approximately 2400 N. 1200 East that Don Palmer is requesting be changed to a Residential Agricultural Zone 1 - for which a public hearing will also be held before the council takes action - and discuss the annexation of the 260-acre Tingey Farm into the city.

Other council actions include a request for a private club license from Driggs Billiards and approval of annual sign-up dates for hooking on to the city's pressurized irrigation system.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the council chambers, 105 N. 100 East.
