Salt Lake police are continuing to look for a man who kidnapped and robbed a convenience store manager last week as he was heading to the bank to make a deposit.

The store manager drove into the parking lot of First Security Bank, 2001 S. Main, on Wednesday. As he parked the car, a man walked up to him and pointed a revolver at him through the window. The gunman ordered him to open the door and then he slid inside the car, a Salt Lake police report stated. The suspect handcuffed the victim's hands behind his back and drove away. The gunman parked the car a few blocks away and then ran off with more than $6,000. The manager was able to return to his store, where he called police.
