Utah Valley Community College and Project 2000 will host a conference Tuesday on Rural Utah's Economic Future.

Irving R. Levine, chief economic correspondent for NBC News, will speak at the conference on America and the international economy.The conference is focused on the challenges and opportunities facing rural Utah. Seminar topics include tourism and Utah's economic future.

Display booths from rural government agencies will be in the Hall of Flags.

Project 2000 is a non-profit community based organization focused on Utah's future in education, economic development, environment and other quality of life issues.
