Ellen Cluff Kiser, 94, died November 24, 1990 at the Dixie Regional Medical Center.
Born November 1, 1896 in Provo, Utah to Benjamin and Harriet Cullimore Cluff. She married Reggin Bell Kiser, January 10, 1915 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Active member of the LDS Church, holding many positions in the Relief Society and Primary organizations. She spent many hours doing Temple Work and loved serving others in compassionate services. She loved music and sang many years with the Singing Mothers in Salt Lake City. She was a member of DAR and an active supporter of Brigham Young University Programs; as early on her father had been president there for 11 years.Survived by one son, Dr. George C. Kiser, San Antonio, Texas; one daughter, Loyse K. Solomon, Bloomington; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cyril Cluff, Stockton, California; Harvey Cluff, Boise, Idaho; one sister, Dolores (Dee) Fife, Salt Lake City; preceded in death by four brothers, George, Vernon, Waldo, Bill and one sister, Vida.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 1990 at 12 noon in the Bloomington Stake Center, 200 West Brigham Rd. Friends may call at the Metcalf Mortuary, Tuesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and at the Church on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to services. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 30 at 12 noon at the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
She will always be loved and revered by family and friends who respected the great example she set for them and will be dearly missed by all.
