Gayle Ann Harris Caldwell Burnham Dartnell, 54, died Friday evening, Nov. 23, 1990, at her home.
Born June 30, 1936, in Salt Lake City, the daughter of Harold L. and Edna L. Leasy Harris. Gayle attended Bryant Jr. High and graduated from West High School. She also is a graduate of Stevens-Henegar Business College. She married Dean Caldwell; they were later divorced. She married Richard Burnham; they were later divorced. On Sept. 13, 1980, she married Ray L. Dartnell in Salt Lake City.Gayle worked in the insurance field. She attended many insurance classes and seminars at the University of Utah. She was a member of National Association of Insurance Women's International; past president, Utah Claim Adjusters' Association. Received Certified Professional Insurance Women (CP/W). Worked for Southwestern Insurance Company, Continental Insurance, Western Insurance Co. and Ohio Casualty. Past president, Mother's Club, Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity. Enjoyed golf, painting and bowling.
Survivors include: Husband, of Murray; mother, Edna L. Gardner, Salt Lake City; one son, Michael Dean Caldwell, one granddaughter, Amanda, one grandson, Tristin Caldwell.
Services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1990, at 11 a.m., at the Evans & Early Mortuary, 574 East 100 South, with Rev. Francis Winder officiating. Friends may call one half hour prior to services. Interment will be in the Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 106th South 17th East.
