President Felix Houphouet-Boigny's party won an overwhelming majority in parliament in multiparty elections that ended 30 years of unchallenged rule, state radio reported Monday.

Opposition politicians accused the ruling party of intimidation and fraud at Sunday's polls.Radio Ivory Coast, reporting partial results, said the ruling Democratic Party won more than 150 seats in the 175-seat assembly while the main opposition Popular Front won nine of 10 seats captured by the opposition.
