The Newspaper Agency Corp., which prints, distributes and handles the advertising for the Deseret News and Salt Lake Tribune, will open its expanded and remodeled Customer Services Office at 143 S. Main Monday at 8 a.m.

Jay Carlson, NAC director of human resources, said the new facility is more than 50 percent larger than NAC's former Main Street office and now includes what was formerly Inkley's camera store at 137 S. Main."New lighting, new tile floors, large new tinted glass windows and the most modern modular furniture have been installed in the office," he said.

Nearly 30 employees specially trained in circulation and classified advertising will be working in the new office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

"Anyone who wants to buy copies of back issues of either the Deseret News or the Tribune, or who wants to place a classified advertisement or an obituary in either paper, pay a classified advertising bill or a circulation bill or who has a problem with newspaper delivery or a classified ad will find courteous employees waiting to help them with fast, competent service," Carlson said.
