Ruth E. Krouth Johnson, 71, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, died November 22, 1990.
Born February 23, 1919, in Salt Lake City, to Herman W. and Clara Ruegg Krouth. Married Charles L. Johnson, Sr., February 14, 1939. Ruth served as secretary for the Women's Auxiliary of the South Salt Lake Fire Department for many years. She was an active member of the F.O.E. #67. A special friend to many, Ruth was always ready to help anyone who needed it.Survived by Husband, Lyle; sons, Lyle Jr., Jerry, and Randy; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sister, Clara Francom; and brother, Harold W. Krouth. Preceded in death by her mother, father, son and sister, Wanda.
Graveside services, Monday 2 p.m., Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Rd. Friends and family may call at Memorial Estates Mortuary on Sunday 6-8 p.m., 5850 South 900 East, and Monday at the Redwood location, one hour prior to services.
