Marion Clem Englestead, 65, died November 22, 1990 at the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City.
Born May 26, 1925 at Panguitch, Utah to Marion H. and Ellen (Nellie) Owens Englestead. Attended school in Panguitch. Moved to Boulder City, Nevada where he graduated from Boulder High School. Worked on the construction of the Boulder Dam. Served his country. He was stationed in Germany, and returned home in 1952. Married LaVera Burgess, September 2, 1952 at Fredonia, Arizona. Worked at Titanium for 17 years in Henderson, Nevada. Moved to Panguitch in 1973. Member of the Panguitch First Ward, LDS Church.Survived by: His wife, LaVera, Panguitch; children; son, Ernest Marion Englestead, Las Vegas, Nevada; daughter, Mrs. Dale (Belinda Kae) Gray, Panguitch, Utah; four granddaughters, three grandsons; brother, Ray Englestead, Panguitch, Utah; three sisters, Gwen E. Jones, Paragonah, Utah; Maxine E. Kieffer, Bountiful, Utah; LaPriel E. Linford, Henderson, Nevada. Preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, mother, father, and one granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 26, 1990 at 1 p.m. in the Panguitch First LDS Ward Chapel, 550 South 100 West in Panguitch. Friends may call at the ward chapel from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Monday morning. Burial with military rites by the Panguitch American Legion, Post #25 in the Panguitch Cemetery.
