Kelly Reed Zesiger, 37, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 1990 at Humana Hospital in Layton.

Born November 28, 1952 in Ogden, Utah to Melvin Cook and Maythel Peterson Zesiger. He married Jane Browning June 24, 1977 in the Provo LDS Temple.He was reared and educated in Nampa, Idaho, graduating from Nampa High School. He attended Boise State University. He had lived in Denham Springs and Houma, Louisiana prior to moving to Syracuse. He was an active member of the Syracuse LDS 4th Ward. He served a two year mission to the Gulf States. He had served in the Branch Presidency of Thiboudex, Thiboudex, Louisiana, as a Seventy, Ward Mission Leader, Gospel Doctrine teacher and home teacher.

At the time of his death he was doing what he enjoyed most, teaching the 15 year old Sunday School Class, he was also working as an assistant manager for Colortyme. He enjoyed camping and LSU sports. He was dedicated to his family. We will miss his sense of humor and giving personality. All who knew him, loved him.

Survived by his wife; three sons and one daughter, Kelly Reed Zesiger, Jr., Justin Kyle Zesiger, Jordan Dane Zesiger, Courtney Jane Zesiger, all of Syracuse; his parents, Nampa, Idaho; two brothers and one sister, Jerry and wife Cheryl Zesiger, Wellsville, Utah; Bob Zesiger, Nampa, Idaho; Deanna and husband Jim Moore, Syracuse; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by one brother, Boyd.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Syracuse Stake Center, 1974 West 1700 South. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 South State, and Saturday at the Stake Center from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park, West Valley City.
