Clemente Leroux Moody, age 67, passed away at her home Friday, Nov. 16, 1990, after a prolonged illness.
Born September 11, 1923, in Montreal, Canada, to George Leroux and Alice Mayer. Educated in French Catholic schools. She married a U.S. soldier, Gordon H. Adkins, in 1945 and became a U.S. citizen in 1952. After a divorce, she married Worth W. Simmons, of Texaco. Following his death, she married Richard H. Moody, of Performance Systems, who predeceased her.She enjoyed boating, traveling and reading. Family and friends remember her for her immaculate housekeeping, strong opinions and her personal style, which made her memorable to everyone who met her.
She is survived by: Her "one and only" son, Michael; grandchildren, Brad and Sean; and sisters, Yvette and Jeannine.
There will be a memorial mass Saturday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, 1975 South 2300 East, followed by an open house from 11-1 p.m. at 2757 Sweet Basil North (5930 So.).
