The Fairpark Coliseum will host the white rapper Vanilla Ice on Monday, Nov. 26, at 7 p.m.

Ice's rap "Ice Ice Baby" shot to number one on the charts, opening the door for the rapper to appear on stage with virtually every major rap group: NWA, Easy E, the Doc, Sir Mix-A-Lot, MC Hammer, 2 Live Crew and more.SBK Records released a new mix of "Ice Ice Baby" and has Ice hard at work on a new album, "To the Extreme." Tracks include: "Stop That Train," "Ice is Workin' It," "Havin' a Roni" and "Play That Funky Music."

Vanilla Ice may be melting a little from the heat he's taking about his background a la Milli Vanilli. The Dallas Morning News reports that the rapper is Robert Van Winkle, who attended high school in Dallas rather than in Miami Lakes as his bio claims. Whether Vanilla Ice grew up in a ghetto and rode the motocross circuit may be debatable. There's no faking his success with the rap genre.

Opening for Vanilla Ice will be Doc Box and B Fresh.
