Davis County teachers have reached a tentative agreement with school board officials and plan to have faculty representatives vote on the terms of the deal Wednesday.

School district officials said the tentative agreement was reached Monday night and they plan to pre-sent the agreement to the school board sometime this week.Without releasing any specifics, Kathy Bone, Davis Education Association president, said the proposed contract would be discussed Wednesday and then voted upon by faculty representatives. If passed, it will be sent to a general vote of the teachers.

The teachers had talked of a striking if district officials did not meet their demands.
