Tamsanqa Linda, a leader in South Africa, will be at Brigham Young University Monday, Nov. 26, to speak about recent events in South Africa.
Linda, whose visit is sponsored by the College Americans Club and the John Birch Society, will speak at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Lounge, Wilkinson Center.Linda is president of the Eastern Province Council Association, which represents the community leaders of 74 townships with a population of nearly 14 million people. He is also the co-president of the United Christian Conciliation Party.
He says that Nelson Mandela does not speak for the blacks in his country. "Nelson Mandela is not a hero in my country. He is a militant communist who calls for violence, terrorism and sanctions," Linda said.
