William Melvin "Bill" Grange, age 64, died Monday, November 19, 1990 at the Dixie Medical Center.
Born December 17, 1925 in Salt Lake City to Joseph Norman and Olive Rhoda Wakefield Grange. He married Lila Rose Darling November 18, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was reared in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.After serving in the Navy in World War II, he worked for Kennecott Copper for 14 years. He moved to California in 1965 where he worked for Ameron Company. In 1977 he purchased property in Ivins. He retired in 1987 and became a permenant resident. He loved taking pictures, traveling, and reading. He loved his family and enjoyed being with them.
Survivors, his wife, Lila R. Grange, Ivins; two sons, William Leon and Margaret Grange, Mantua, Utah; Donald Robert and Marilyn Grange, West Valley City; two daughters, Linda Irene Grange Schaublin, West Jordan; Mrs. Mark (Barbara) Harvey, Pomona, California; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandson; one brother, Norman Joseph and Virginia Grange, West Valley City; three sisters, Mrs. Lido (Marge) Pena, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Duke (Joy) Ferguson, West Valley City; and Mrs. Clark (Rayola "Tinker") Anderton, Farmington.
Funeral services Friday, November 23, 1990, 3 p.m. in the Spillsbury Desert Rose Mortuary, 58 North 100 East, St. George, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Under direction of Spillsbury Desert Rose Mortuary.
