Senior citizens and disabled people will be the center of attention in all ShopKo stores in Utah on Tuesday, Dec. 20, during a special holiday shopping event.
From 9 a.m. to noon, those people will get a 10 percent discount on all purchases (including sale items), free refreshments, in-store coupons, free gift wrapping, carry-out service and employees will accompany them while making gift selections.For people who haven't sat on Santa Claus' knee for many years, he will be available for that purpose, and the first 50 will receive free photographs of themselves and Santa.
Free blood pressure screening will be available and the professional service departments like the pharmacy and optical shop will be open. Senior citizens and disabled people also will receive a number and every 30 minutes numbers will be drawn for a $25 shopping spree. There will be eight winners per store.
