Utah State University faculty member James McWhorter is featured in recital Monday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. in the Eccles Conference Center Auditorium. The recital is free and the public is invited.

McWhorter is a cellist and directs the Symphony Orchestra in USU's department of music. His recital runs approximately 80 minutes.McWhorter presents works by Brahms, a suite of Spanish folk songs by 20th century composer Manuel de Falla and a two-movement Locatelli sonata. The program begins with a Marcello adagio arranged by Bach.

Accompanying McWhorter is pianist Karin Edwards, faculty member at Wheaton College in Illinois.
