Floyd Henry Beal Poulsen, 87, of Salt Lake City, died Monday, November 19, 1990 at his home.

Born September 7, 1903 in Marysville, Idaho. Son of Christian and Maria Magdalane Nielsen Poulsen. He married Carmen May Stephens April 5, 1933 in Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 7, 1980. He then married Emma Lawrence Matheson on August 7, 1980 in Salt Lake LDS Temple.He had worked as district manager for the American National Life Insurance Company. He was member of Yale 1st LDS Ward. He had served missions to Canada and North Dakota. He was member of Bishopbric in Lewisville Idaho Ward, and a ward in Ogden.

Surviving are wife of Salt Lake; four sons, and one daughter, Robert Loftis, Ogden; Wesley A. Matheson, and Kenneth W. Matheson, both of Provo; Lawrence Matheson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Dwane (Leah Ray Foutz) Harrison, Ogden; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Alma (Bessie) Merrill, Blackfoot, Idaho.

Funeral services, Wednesday, 12:30 p.m. in the Yale 1st Ward Chapel, 1470 Gilmer Drive (10th south, 1470 east), with Bishop John VanWagoner officiating. Friends may call at the Deseret Mortuary Tuesday from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday at the church from 11:15-12:15 p.m. Interment, Washington Heights Memorial Park, Ogden. Funeral Directors, Myers Mortuary, Ogden.
