Millard Paus Bell, age 90, died Monday, November 19, 1990, in Sandy, Utah.

Born January 15, 1900, to Hyrum S. and Josephine M. Letson Bell in Salt Lake City, Utah. Married Dorthia Ellen Harvey, March 22, 1923 in Lehi, Utah, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.Employed by the Walgreen Drug Company for many years. Transferred to Tampa, Florida in 1944 where he lived with his family for 26 years. Retired from his employment and moved back to Utah in 1970. Held many positions in the LDS Church, Branch President, District Presidency, High Councilman and a Stake Patriarch for 30 years. Ordained an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake Temple where he served for ten years. He performed his duties as a Stake Patriarch in the Fort Union Stake until his death. Because of his love for his fellowmen, he acquired many friends and will be long remembered.

He is survived by his wife, Dorthia, Midvale; two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Elaine) White, Columbia, Mississippi; and Phyllis D. Bell, Midvale; eight grandsons; three granddaughters; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Alice C. Williams, Los Angeles, California. Preceded in death by sister, Myrtle R. Watts, and brother, John Bell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 21st, 12 Noon, Fort Union 6th Ward, 6770 South 5th East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Tuesday, 6-8 pm, and Wednesday, at the Ward, one hour prior to service. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens.
