Elmer Edwards, age 77, died November 17, 1990.

Born January 14, 1913 in Clark, South Dakoata, a son of George and Myrtle Jerrow Edwards. Married Fern Christison on January 12, 1974 in Moab, Utah. He lived in Idaho in his youth and worked as a lumberjack and a sheepherder. Later moved to Utah where he spent the last 49 years. He was a coal miner in Carbon County. Moved to Moab, Utah and was employed by Texas Gulf where he later retired. He enjoyed working with his hands and was an excellent mechanic. Ed also was an avid bowler.Survived by his wife, Fern, Salt Lake; stepchildren, Gordon Dyer, Orem; Donna Kofford, West Valley; Ted Christison, Salt Lake; Sally Ballstaedt, Salt Lake; Susan Mills, West Valley; Kenneth Christison, Sandy; Keith Christison, Salt Lake; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren. Several nieces adn nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Veda Rostrolli Edwards, his parents, brother Glen and sister Elsie Robinson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at Evans & Early 574 East 1st South, Salt Lake; friends may call one hour prior to services.
