Leona Katherine Conshafter Dellenbach, age 84, passed away Saturday, November 17, 1990, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born June 18, 1906, Evanston, Wyoming to Frank Edward and Sina Nelson Conshafter. Married Franklin H. Dellenbach, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death, June 9, 1960. Former resident of Ogden, Clinton, Roy and Salt Lake City, Utah. Retired Civil Service employee from Hill Air Force Base, following 23 years of service. Active member of the LDS Church, having held positions in Primary, Relief Society and YWMIA. She participated extensively in geneology and temple work. Leona had a great love of literature and music. She appreciated the world about her and was an avid gardener. She was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her keen sense of humor will be missed.Survivors: her five children, Donald F. Dellenbach, Clayton, California; Donna Parks, Gulfport, Mississippi; Barbara Sorrell, Robert K. Dellenbach and Dorothy Roberts, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral service Wednesday, November 21, 1990, 11:00am, Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment: Ogden City Cemetery, 1:15 p.m.
