Law enforcement officers and family members were searching Monday for an 89-year-old Salt Lake County man who has been missing from his home in East Mill Creek, Salt Lake County, since Sunday afternoon.

Garland Pope left home about 1:30 p.m. for a grocery store at 900 East and 4800 South. He was driving an off-white 1985 Ford Bronco II, with Utah handicapped license plates No. 726E. Family members said Pope, who takes a heart medication, suffered a heart attack last March.He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and wears glasses. He was wearing a rust-tan coat, navy blue slacks, a navy blue plaid shirt and a grey felt hat with a brim.
