Following their loss to UNLV Friday, BYU's women swimmers came back to outpoint Northern Arizona 131-98 Saturday in the NAU Natatorium.

The Cougars won 10 of 12 events, getting double victories from freshman diving standout Vanessa Bergman and sophomore distance free-styler Jody Morehouse.Bergman logged 266.4 points on the 1-meter board and 288.30 points on the 3-meter, while Morehouse captured the 800 free in 9:52.48 and the 400 free in 4:46.74.

Other Cougar first places came from Kathy Doman in the 50 free (28.02), Jill Teeples in the 200 I.M. (2:33.43), Alissa Tribe in the 100 fly (1:07.47), K.C. Cline in the 100 free (1:01.05), Cynthia Whetten in the 100 back (4:46.74) and the 400 medley relay squad of Cline, Teeples, Doman and Shannon Hair (4:38.62).

Cougar second places were picked up by Doman in the 200 free (2:18.62) and Valerie Hale in 3-meter diving (228.90).
