Here's an update on the "Construction Crew vs. the Cheaper-by-the-Dozen Cast" race that we mentioned last week in announcing the Pages Lane Theater opening.

The theater, in the final stages of construction at 292 E. Pages Lane, just west of Dick's Market, was tentatively scheduled to open on Nov. 16th, but the opening has been postponed until Friday, Nov. 23 at 8 p.m. with "Cheaper by the Dozen."It will continue on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 3:30 and 8 p.m., and Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 26-27, at 8 p.m., with the run temporarily interrupted for a three-week run of "Scrooge" before being brought back for several performances in December and January.

Dates for these performances are: Dec. 26-29 at 8 p.m., with a matinee at 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 29; Tuesday, Jan. 1, at 8 p.m., and Jan. 3-5 in the evenings with a matinee on Jan. 5, then Monday-Tuesday, Jan. 7-8 and Thursday, Jan. 10, all at 8 p.m.

Tickets: $6 for adults and $5 for children on Mondays-Thursdays and Saturday matinees; $8 for adults and $5 for children on Friday and Saturday evenings. Call 292-1302 for reservations.
