Aline Rogers passed away on October 30, 1990 in Simi Valley, California after a long illness.
She was born May 16, 1914 in Salt Lake City and was the daughter of the late Judge and Mrs. Edgar Allan Rogers. Her father was a former district attorney and prominent lawyer in Salt Lake City. He was also past president of the Utah State Bar Association. Her grandfather was the late John James, former British Vice Consul for the Inter-Mountain States.Miss Rogers graduated from the University of Utah in 1934 where she was a member of the local chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma and active in campus affairs. She taught elementary school in Salt Lake City starting in 1935 at Longfellow and Lafayette. In 1953 she moved to Van Nuys where she resided with her brothers Craig and Ted Rogers. She taught school at Mark Keppel Elementary in Glendale until her retirement in the 1970's.
She is survived by her brother Craig Rogers; two nieces, Mary Genstil of Newbury Park and Nancy Ruiz of Pacific Grove; and three great-nephews.
In accordance with her wishes, private graveside services will be held at Mount Olivet in Salt Lake City.
