Weber State closes out the 1990 season today trying to halt a four-game losing skid when it plays McNeese State at 6 p.m. MST.

"We're just trying to finish the season on a high note," said Weber Coach Dave Arslanian. "We're playing a pretty good team that has a chance to win the Southland Conference."Arslanian calls the Cowboys (5-5) a "pretty balanced team" offensively. The defense and special teams have been the strength of the team this year. Three of the their touchdowns have come from special teams and one from the offense.

Weber has been led all season by quarterback Jamie Martin, who has led the nation in total offense. Last week the sophomore quarterback set a single-season passing mark against Northern Arizona. He needs 408 yards to break Dave Stireman's season total offense mark of 3,759.
