The University of Utah volleyball team, 7-19 overall and 0-8 in the Western Athletic Conference, enters the final week of conference competition with the challenge of hosting two of the teams still in the WAC race, New Mexico and San Diego State.

New Mexico, 17-5 overall and 6-2 in the WAC, are one game back of league leader Brigham Young, 7-1 in WAC play. San Diego State is 20-9 and 5-3.New Mexico will face Utah Friday at 7:30 p.m. and SDSU will take on the Cougars at the same time. On Saturday, it's SDSU at Utah and New Mexico at BYU. Both games are at 7:30 p.m.
