BYU junior Ruby Chico shot a 1-under-par 72 in the final round of the USIU Golf Invitational Wednesday to boost the Cougar squad to its second tournament victory of the year.

Chico, who had the only sub-par score in the 54-hole tourney, carded rounds of 79-79-72 230 for third place. She trailed individual winner Renee Heiken of Illinois by five strokes and runner-up Joanne Brooks of Nebraska by four.Contributing to BYU's triumph was senior Lachell Simmons, who came in with a final score of 75 to nab fourth place. She tallied rounds of 76-81-75 232.
