The Pro Image, 563 W. 500 South, which operates a chain of sports fan souvenir shops, has opened 16 new stores in the United States and Canada in the past six weeks.

One of the new stores is located in Salt Lake's Crossroads Mall and is franchised with the Utah Jazz. The store is the team's seventh.Pro Image began franchising in 1985 and now has 180 stores in 46 states, seven Canadian provinces and Europe. Sales this year are expected to exceed $60 million.
