Lyle C. Ruff, 87, passed away November 14, 1990 at his home.

He was born in Coalville, Utah on November 6, 1903 to Margaret Calderwood and George H. Ruff. He spent his childhood and youth in Coalville and Logan where he was an outstanding athlete. He married Emma Elizabeth Porter on August 15, 1925. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He owned and operated the Medical Arts Dental Laboratory for 40 years and was highly respected as a dental technician.He is survived by his children, Maxine R. Record, Shirley R. Jones, Dorothy R. Minson and George P. Ruff; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife.

Services will be held at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple on Saturday, November 17, at 12 noon. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East.
