Clara Child Hill, 94, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 1990, of natural causes.

She was born October 30, 1896 in Clinton, Utah, a daughter of Mark Anthony and Eliza Wright Child. She was the tenth of 13 children. She married John H. Hill, September 12, 1917, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 14, 1982.She spent her early married life in Layton and later moved to Clinton. She has been an active member of the Clinton 6th LDS Ward. She had been a Relief Society visiting teacher for more than 65 years and held numerous positions in the church. She was a member of the Sego Lily Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a member of the Silver Spurs Riding Club and a charter member and secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Davis County Farm Bureau. She farmed, was a homemaker and did histories and genealogical work.

Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy Hill Adams, Clinton; two grandchildren, Janice A. Elmer, Roger B. Adams, both of Salt Lake City; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 12 Noon, Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street, where friends may call Saturday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
