Mary Gladys Hendrickson, age 81, died November 13, 1990 in Salt Lake City, after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 22, 1909 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, daughter of George and Mary Ann Boyer. Most of her early life was spent in Greeley, Colorado, and she attended Colorado Teachers' College in Greeley. She married Richard A. Hendrickson February 23, 1935 in Salt Lake City. He died November 5, 1986.She worked for the Woolworth Co. from 1930 to 1971; she was manager of the lunch department in Salt Lake City from 1937 to 1971. She was an active member of the Wasatch Presbyterian Church, the Ladies' Oriental Shrine, Daughters of the Nile, and the Utah Numismatic Society.

Survived by son Michael R. and daughter-in-law Judith Ann, Salt Lake City; sisters, Edith McColleem, Trenton, Missouri; Dorothy Harris, Raton, New Mexico; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 2 p.m., November 16, 1990, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call one half hour prior. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
