A Salt Lake drug store was robbed over the weekend by a man who got away with prescription painkillers and an undetermined amount of cash, Salt Lake police say.

A man wearing a white bag over his head ran into Southeast Pharmacy, 2670 S. 20th East, and ordered the pharmacist to put containers of narcotic tranquilizers into a canvas bank bag, the police report said.The man, described as 25 years old with bloodshot eyes, also cleaned out the till during the 2:05 p.m. Saturday robbery. Police said no customers were in the store at the time.
