Harold Bloom, who may be the first person in America to deal in "Religious Criticism," will speak at Kingsbury Hall on the University of Utah Campus, 7:30 p.m. on Nov, 15.
Bloom is known for his high-minded, piercing literary observations. Now he is turning his dry eye on spiritual matters. His insights will soon be available in a book: "The American Religion: Analysis and Prophesy."His local lecture will be on Joseph Smith and his role.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
