Carl Evan "Bill" Moss, age 83, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, died tuesday November 13, 1990 in a local care center following a lingering illness.

Born March 4, 1907 in South Bountiful the son of Stephen and Martha Arvena Jones Moss. He married Jetta Holbrook, September 20, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.He was active in the LDS church where he was a former Bishop of the Bountiful 8th ward, a High Councilor and executive secretary in the Bountiful South Stake. Was on the Bountiful city council for 2 terms; had served 9 years as a Davis County Commissioner. Was a former member of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce; past president of Oakridge Country Club, and a former member of the Bountiful Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife of Bountiful; three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Jeanene) Stringham, Mrs. Boyd (Louise) Rohwer, Mrs. Don (Mary Ann) Wortley, all of Bountiful; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Moss and LaVell Moss; a sister, Louise Moss.

Funeral Services will be held Friday November 16, 1990 at 12 noon in the Bountiful 8th LDS Ward, 455 South 1200 East. Friends may call at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church 10:45-11:45. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
