Salt Lake police arrest a woman following a bank robbery at First Security Bank, 2001 S. Main. A man entered the bank about 9:45 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money. Although no weapon was seen, the man was given an undetermined amount of cash, and he ran out of the bank. A dye pack that had been placed with the money apparently exploded after he left. He dropped the bag and at least some of the cash and then escaped in an older Cadillac that was driven by a woman. Minutes later, patrol units in the area spotted a car that matched the description of the getaway vehicle just a few blocks up the street at a motel at 1530 S. Main, said Salt Lake police Lt. Ken Thirsk. Police arrested a man matching the suspect's description and later arrested a woman.
