Ann Ptaschinski of Sandy is the final weekly winner in the 1990 Deseret News Grid Picks, being one of two participants who correctly guessed 11 winners of last week's 12 selected college games.

Ptaschinski, who only missed predicting Utah's 29-27 victory over New Mexico, was only three points off BYU's acutal 45-14 win in the designated tiebreaker game with a guess of 45-14.Ptaschinski wins the $100 weekly prize. She also joins the previous weekly winners with a chance at this week's $25,000 grand prize. To win the $25,000, a previous weekly winner must correctly predict the halftime and final scores of Saturday's BYU-Utah game.

Chad Croxford of Salt Lake City was the other entrant who missed only one game - also the Utah-New Mexico game. However, he was 22 points off the tiebreaker score with a predicted BYU winning margin of 53-27. Croxford becomes the first of 10 runners-up who win Deseret News "Sports Page" T-shirts.

Four other runners-up missed just two games - Travis Jacobson of Sandy, Virginia Sokolowsky of Orem, Roger Holyoak of Salt Lake City, and Brad Favero of Ogden.

The other five runners-up were selected from the 20 who missed three games, using the tiebreaker format. The final fivesome included Pam Johnson of Salt Lake City, Alan Mouritsen of Grantsville, Norden Johnsen of Salt Lake City, Ted Carter of Provo, and Edward Midgley of Provo.
