Homer J. Cox, 71, of Manti, died November 11, 1990 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah.
Born March 26, 1919, in Manti, to William Jay and Hazel Jacobson Cox. Served in World War II in the 490 Armored Field Artilary, November 1940-October 1945. He was a carpenter and home builder.Survived by four sons and two daughters, Beverly and Gene Strickland, West Valley; Gary and Ute Cox, Bountiful; Dale and Diane Cox, Manti; Vickie and Dell Peck, Salt Lake City; Randall and Janice Cox, Sterling; Russel and Julie Cox, Manti; 25 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Cecil and Max, Manti; Phyllis Irons, and Elliot, Moroni; Beulah Tuttle, Midvale.
Funeral Services Thursday, 1 p.m. Manti First-Second LDS Ward Chapel. Friends call Buchanan Mortuary, Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday at the ward chapel one hour prior to services. Interment: Manti City Cemetery.
