DeeLynn Stevens 57 died November 10, 1990 in Oakley, Utah.

Born September 10, 1933 in Oakley, to Byron Dean and Bertha Laurette Davies Stevens. Married Norma Purinton June 20, 1957 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Oakley and graduated from South Summit High School. Lived in Oakley all his life. Dedicated many years to the Boy Scouts as Scout Master. Was employed by Mountain Fuel Supply for 22 years. Served 4 years in the U. S. Navy. He was an Elder in the Oakley LDS Ward at the time of his death. Was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved the outdoors.Loved dearly and survived by wife of Oakley; Children: Dean J. and Tammy Stevens of Millville; Ellen S. and Korey Louder of Logan; grandchildren, Melissa, Heidi, Curtis and Julie Stevens and Dustin Louder; sisters, Emma Lloyd, Naomi Pyper, Salt Lake City; Effie Dalton, Ogden. Preceded in death by parents, two brothers, two sisters and a son Howard E. Stevens.

Funeral services Wednesday, Nov. 14, 1990 at 11:00 A.M. in the Kamas Stake Center (Highway 189-Marion) where friends may call Tuesday evening from 6:30-8:30 P.M. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Stevens Cemetery in Oakley where Military Honors will be accorded. Funeral Directors, Olpin Mortuary, Heber City.
